This is a wise and gifted soul. I first encountered Rob in 2005 through his incredible and impressive writing on I have copies of both of his books, "Float Like A Butterfly Sing Like A Tree" and "Follow The Clear River Down". In his first offering, he was kind enough to include one of my early poems as well as poems by the very talented writers Carol Desjarlais and Nicolette van der Walt. His words are tender, roaring, massive and strong with knowledge and experience. He is what the embodiment of what I refer to as being "a mighty voice of thunder". He is a sage and poet for the ages. - Wanda Lea Brayton, author of "Swanee Sighs"

"Re: Like a virgin with a switchblade" I think you are right, especially Ginsberg; who is too focused on his sexuality. I am astounded at how Ganson is able to perceive things. A poet myself I feel this book is a "cheat sheet" and I almost feel guilty reading it as I use his metaphors and images as my coda.

"Float like a butterfly, sing like a tree" Reading this collection is like being mouth-deep in a raspberry thicket, all tangled up in pain and sweetness.

"Rob Ganson" When I first picked up this book, I read it straight through. Then I read it again. Rob's poetry is expansive. It's about nature - both of the natural world and human nature. Not just about pretty flowers, but nature in the universal, catholic sense. It folds unto itself and opens more ideas than it presents. And it presents plenty. His poetry shadows a point of view about earth-centered spirituality that provides hope ... even when it reaches down into despair. Ganson's work is an inspiration to me, in my daily struggle with writing. If you are a student of contemporary poetry this book is a must-buy. Eric Hjerstedt Sharp

"Better than Kerouac and Ginsberg Wanda Lea Brayton" I met Rob on a poetry website several years ago. I was immediately enamored of his powerful truth, his ability to tell a story with the utmost courage and respect dancing within his words. His is a voice of a lost and found generation; his poetry is classic, lovely, raw, profound and will leave you shaking your head in awe. His love of nature is obvious; his devotion to his family and his friends is legendary. He will laugh when he reads this review, because his humility and admiration for Kerouac and Ginsberg is well-known. I've been reading and writing poetry for over 34 years now; he truly IS better than most ~ as a poet, as a man, as a human being. Gift yourself. Prepare to be amazed. I always am. ~ Wanda Lea Brayton author of "Swanee Sighs"

"Like a virgin with a switchblade" Deep cut words upon silk smooth skin. The reader finds themselves transported to the finery of script through fluttered flickers of time. This guy makes me ponder between the pages about a plethora of decisions.
