“Doubt after Doubt” is a book people are afraid to read. When author Rob Jacik begins questioning his faith he looks upon that crucifix on his wall with trepidation knowing that questioning his religion would be wrong. Others who have pondered reading this book have also turned away for fear of the challenges they may face. Through will-power and courage Jacik pushes aside his own fears and investigates every doubt he has ever had about Christianity to author the book. Jacik’s revelations are remarkable as he challenges Christmas, Easter, the devil, the creation story, hell, the word of God, sex, homosexuality and more often using the Bible to support his case. “Doubt after Doubt” is informative and inspirational providing a new way of looking at the faith that many people call their own.

"Doubt After Doubt:Doubting the Christian Faith by Rob Jacik" “Does God have a chosen people? Does God hate? Will good people really go to hell if they do not accept Jesus Christ?” I asked these exact questions numerous times myself growing up in a Southern Baptist environment. These questions were never really answered until now... Doubt After Doubt: Doubting the Christian Faith contains an in-depth analysis of well known Biblical topics. Mr. Jacik explores the Bible from creation to the afterlife and back again. While I thought this much research might lend itself to a dry read; that is far from the case!! Part memoir and part discourse, Mr. Jacik manages a balanced presentation that keeps you coming back for more. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who has ever questioned what the Bible really says.
"Doubt After Doubt: Doubting the Christian Faith" "Doubt After Doubt: Doubting the Christian Faith" by Robert Jacik, http://www.doubtafterdoubt.com/, is a well written personal account of a young catholic man's journey to paganism. The book details the author's doubts of conventional religion using personal stories and biblical research as he wrestles with God's roll in creation, Jesus, the Christmas story and secular Christian beliefs. The book looks at religion with a respectful nonjudgmental analysis of biblical verses and draws on the input from many well known religious scholars. What I couldn't help notice as I read the book was that many of the doubts and questions Rob expresses during his research so closely mesh with my own experiences, and I'm sure that many readers will feel the same way. The book does not preach and does not impose any beliefs on the reader, but you will come away with the realization that religion is something so much more personal... More > than organized religion would have you believe. This is one of the few religion topic books I've read where I actually looked forward to the next chapter. Obviously I would highly recommend this book.< Less
