I really enjoyed this book. Mr. Ford is a great story teller. I would compare Mr. Ford's writings with any of the best aviator's autobiographies. Whether you are a pilot or just an aviation enthusiast you will find this book fascinating. I am a commercial pilot and have for years wished that I had flown in the military. Specifically the C-130. This book is probably as close as a civilian will get to knowing what it was like to be an Airlifter and fly the Herc operationally. I highly recommend this book.
