Not quite Shakespeare so had to take one star away but this was the perfect book to read aloud on a rainy family camping trip. Quite a few chuckles mixed in with interesting story and unique characters. Got our imaginations going and I look forward to the sequel.

I just read this short book last night and I was highly amused. This sci-fi story about robots on a mission is very serious science with a light-hearted attitude. It is obvious the author knows a great deal. The reader benefits from the author digesting a huge knowledge base into bite sized pieces that would be fun for a teen-ager or adult. I closed the final page knowing much more about the solar system and space travel then ever before. The book has a glossary, an index and a bibliography, lest there be any questions along the stellar journey. This book is a hoot. It has the feel of a cartoon story in words. It is painless educational material in a dry little story that ends up feeling delicious. I hope his robots, Walker, Wheeler, and Transporter have more stories to tell when they reach the next leg of their mission.
