Treasure Island by Robert Louis Stevenson. Published in 1883. Jim Hawkins lives in the 18th century in the West Coast of England. His father owns a guesthouse (Inn), which is visited firstly by an old bacaneer who has a map of Captain Flint's treasure, and then by a group of pirates who have a blind man called Pew as their commander. Jim manages to take possession of the map before the pirates get to it and he then takes it to Squire Trelawney, who owns a schooner. Both Jim and the Squire set sail in the schooner to look for Treasure Island, and so the adventure begins.
