It was a meteoric rise to fame and fortune for Kris Van Kleer. An image of himself he believed in and worked extremely hard to cultivate. A brilliant law student at Columbia, he was sought after by every prestigious law firm in New York, promising to offer him a fast track to partner. Within two years, he was the poster-boy of Weston, Hastings, Isaacson and Gerard, the largest law firm in the city.
