This workbook interactively coaches search committees through the search process for pastors and ministry associates. The workbook challenges search committees to think Biblically, to engage in self-critique, and to engage candidates in a thorough process designed to lead the search committee to the best selection of a pastor or ministry associate. Extensive interactive checklists are used throughout the workbook, including for use in critiquing candidate profiles (70 evaluation items), interviews, compensation packages, and a checklist of over 60 questions to use when critiquing your own church. It is designed to be used both as a companion to the book, Charting the Course – The Pastoral Search Process, and as a stand-alone resource.
