"I Can't Walk, But I Can Move You" It took me eighteen years to write a 33 page book. I hope my poetry resonates with all readers, regardless if they have a disability or not. Here is the title poem. I can't walk, but I can move you. I can move you with a sweet melody I can play on the piano. I can keep you warm with a sweater I knit with my two hands. I can move you with my paintings of the ocean in her many moods. I can teach you to say hello in five different languages. I can cook you a sumptuous meal of roast chicken and vegetables. I can't walk, but I can move you. Let me show you how. with charm, I crawl but an inch. with ability, I walk to one corner. with talent, I run for a short time. with effort, I soar above the earth. You can email me at robertyokoyama@yahoo.com. Tell me what you think of my poetry.
