This tutorial gives instructions for how to create a soft, nostalgic look. This tutorial is written for working on Photoshop CS3 or above using a Windows computer. While all the techniques are possible with a Mac, the shortcuts for some steps are not included. The techniques in this tutorial are not suitable for Photoshop Elements or other image editing programs.
A basic understanding and familiarity with Photoshop is expected. Specifically you should be familiar with the Layers Panel and working with Layers. Techniques learned in this tutorial include creating Light Tone Masks, Layering, Blend Modes, Curves, Color, Saturation & Levels Adjustment Layers.
