This research re-thinks the traditional view that God only spoke through men, and presents the evidence that the fourth gospel was written by Mary Magdalene – the ‘Beloved Disciple’ whose identity is revealed at the foot of the cross.
It demonstrates the way Koine Greek defaults to masculine when written from the perspective of a person who chooses to remain unidentified or anonymous – who deliberately writes from the perspective of a ‘Beloved Disciple’ and for whom gender is irrelevant.
For almost two thousand years the real identity of the ‘Beloved Disciple’ has been obscured by the incorrect naming of the fourth gospel as ‘John’.
