"Where Is Uncle Tony?" I was deeply moved by "Where Is Uncle Tony?" Rochelle Anderson is incredibly adept at putting into such simply sweet words the phases of loss, grief and acceptance that accompanies the death of a loved one from a prolonged illness. While it was written for a child, everyone dealing with the loss of someone they love one can benefit from reading it.

"Where is Uncle Tony" This is a wonderful book for children dealing with the loss of a loved one . . . particularly a loved one who has died following a prolonged illness. "Where is Uncle Tony" addresses loss and the effects that death has on the adults in the child's life. As an elementary school counselor, I look for various types of books on death and dying because each child's situation is unique and what is appropriate for one child may not be for another. This is a well-written and heartwarming book by Rochelle Anderson.
