In this book are the stories of Orphan, Roger Dean Kiser. Roger will never forget how he and almost 300 other children were treated as though they were less than human while living at the Children’s Home Society Orphanage in Jacksonville, Florida. These are the animals’ stories that affected his life the most. Stories that sometimes hurt, yet also taught him how to love and respect all forms of life.
