I urge readers not to purchase Prism anthologies. I am a poet published in several Prism issues. Ron Wiseman is the editor and his partner is a woman named Jo. They charge the poets to publish their work and then we must also pay for a copy. I could have tolerated the above. But I won an award in the April 2016 issue which comes with a cash prize of $50.00. I have never been paid this money. Jo will not respond to my inquiries and Ron passes the buck to Jo. Even worse, I have spoken with other poets who have won awards with cash prizes. NO ONE HAS RECEIVED A PENNY. In effect, they are lying to you, and there is no accountability or recourse. The poets are simply being used. Please boycott Prism anthologies until every poet has received what is owed. We are the typical starving artists group and we *earned* that money and we *need* and count on that money. Thank you.
