This was given to me by young folk who were kind enough to read the the proof stage... Thanks all.... Please feel free to add your own if you've read 'WETWARE CHILD'. 1) I enjoyed the book but the bad spelling bothered me and sometimes I felt like it needed more words to make it clearer. boy age 8 2) It took me a long time to read, and I didn't have time to finish it but I liked the story but didn't always understand everything. girl age 9 3) Put off by basic spelling mistakes ie Chapter 2. Girl age unknown. 4) Opinion: Laborious and uninteresting, various mistakes changing of font and size made it hard to read. rating half a star out of 5. boy aged 14. 5) A bit of a strange story not quite sure if its a happy story or if there is a dark side to it. As a childrens book it should have some pictures throughout it. I don't know why some of the text is in large/bold print. Some text is american. ie: cell phone, hand ball, and mountain trail. (no details known) 6) I like the... More > story-line but occaisionally found it all a bit unclear as to what was happening to MIlo. and I would have liked to know what happened to Milo in the end! A few spelling and grammar errors. A proof reader would be an advantage in any future project. (details of reviewer not known but a number 6 is on page...) 7)I enjoyed this book but thought it was a little strange. I liked the big type. I didn't like the front cover it looked dated. girl aged 11. 8) I enjoyed reading this book. I kept wondering what would happen next. I liked the big writing. I wouldn't have picked up this book because of the front cover. girl age 11. 9) Review: WetWare Child. 1. Did you enjoy the book? Yes, I liked the book, it was fantastic, also a bit rare. 2.Did you find it easy to understand? I know who the characters were. I had help with pronouncing some of the words. 3.Who do you think would enjoy reading the book? I think children aged 12-14 because they might like the plot of the story. 4.What was the best bit of the book? If he was a real robot! What happened at the end. 5.What do you think of the title and the cover? It's okay, but needed a better name to make it more interesting for the Audience. 6.Write about the story. The story was about Milo's life as a kid. I understand his dream. He was scared if his Dad was real or metal item. Made me think even if he was a robot, all his memories look real. The Granny /Professor was evil – real evil as well. The house at the end, made me think of the place they left. The kitchen where Dad was reading. The lounge where he had to be switched off. The bikes – his friends – Play! The laboratory behind them. All as tiny as a doll's house. 7.Did the book have a good ending? Yes, it made me think about if he was real – a boy or a robot! I asked R these questions after she wrote the review. 8.Did it take long to read? No it was quick! 8. What else did you want? I wanted to know more of Milo's story. All of the gaps. 9.Did you want another book on Milo? Yes please, what will it be called? Can I read it first?< Less
