Noah Bode is unhappy with his boring state of perpetual unemployment and his relentlessly searching mind. He knows he's searching for something, but he doesn't know what.
He decides to abandon his life in London and take a trip to South East Asia with a few friends.
After bribing his way through border control he's free to play all the cricket he wants and enjoy all the mushrooms and alcohol his body can handle.
His unceasing thinking does not stop and his neuroses are intensified around members of the opposite sex, but he manages to tiptoe his way though the social mine field that is dealing with ladies while tripping out something fierce on mushrooms.
He even manages to emerge having learnt something, but is it the sort of thing that could help him in the real world what he was searching for all this time?
