This is a very simple yet powerful book that is written with great humility and care. I have attended several groups where the theme of the gathering was the telling of an ancient fairy story. With the help of the story and the storyteller, I was able to explore parts of myself that were previously unknown. This little book brought back memories of those gatherings. On my initial reading of the ancient story presented, the questions asked and the insights offered by Rudy, I felt softly guided along a path toward inner and outer conflict resolution. I am looking forward to rereading the text many times. Thank you Rudy for this gift to the soul.
I highly recommend this gem of a book. I have used in my personal life, working out issues of conflict within and with others. I have also found it a very helpful aid to give to my psychotherapy clients. The book offers deep, creative and accessible ways of transforming internal and external struggles into life-affirming relationships.
Thank you for pulling this collection together Rudy. With the benefit of our 20+ years of friendship I see in “Heaven and Earth Together” (first in the series) your well traveled path — the inspired quest for a soul-filled civilized life. By your example I’ve witnessed the quality of experience possible when ones uniqueness is honored, our commonality celebrated. This presentation of provocative ‘stories’, followed by thoughtful ‘questions’, engages the reader to reveal and expose to daylight, the many onion-like layers available in the depths of our own viewpoint. The promise is in the acceptance of a larger sense of self.
