About Russ Knopp

I have enjoyed (most of the time) a 40-plus-year career in public education, mostly in the classroom. The 'book' you see here was 'inspired' by interaction with students and staff during one of my seven years as elementary principal. The pile of puns come from a possible glitch in my personality that generates a fair share of eye rolling in the listeners--many of whom seem to have so little appreciation for 'good' humor. While I say "call it fun or call it pun," some of those around me may be saying "call it quits." Remember what you just read about so little appreciation for 'good' humor? There you go! The most exciting part of this 'work' was having a student provide the illustrations. Special thanks to Kaz for her willingness to be associated with this endeavor.
