Covenant Theology: A Critical Analysis of Current Pentecostal Covenant Theology
eBook (ePub)
Price:
$9.99
Not long after the Pentecostal Movement was birthed as a Movement in 1906, in Azusa St. two other Movements began. These were to become what are known as the Latter Rain Movement and the Word Faith Movement; and as a virus, they grew unchecked within the Pentecostal Movement. They have both influenced the mindset of many Pentecostals to such an extent that the heretical teachings of these Movements have become the paradigmic framework from which their victims base their view of God, their faith, spirituality and how they regard life in general. This book discusses the covenant theology of the Latter Rain and the Word Faith Movements in contrast to what is generally considered to be orthodox Pentecostal covenant theology.
