When Eloise Smithers falls to her death, D.I. Aaron Holmes; recently returned from a suspension, is called in to investigate. Her boyfriend is the prime suspect but when he is found shot dead the peaceful village of Wellston on Sea is sucked into the web of murder.
And then, two days later, there is another killing. Is there a serial killer on the loose or is Wellston-on-Sea the home of three separate killers?

"A nice mystery, could use a copy editor though." Mr. Truran has delivered a fine story with a nice plot. With the help of a good editor this book could easily have ended up on the shelves of your local book store. Spelling, grammar and the occaisional transposition of characters names (referring to Nathan as Aaron and Aaron as Nathan, etc.) broke the flow of my reading but with a little back tracking I could figure out what the author had intended. The solution to the puzzle is revealed in a satisfying way, well done.
