When the residents of Orange Beach, Alabama, wake up one morning to the brutal murders of a well known family in their community, the sleepy beachside fishing village quickly realizes that they have a much bigger problem than just recovering from the aftermath of a constant barrage of hurricanes; they have a diabolical killer lurking in the shadows of their dunes.
The only survivor and witness to the murders is Anna, a nine year old child who is traumatized beyond belief by the bloodshed that she witnessed the night her family was slain in front of her. Hank Jordan, the lead detective in the case, follows clues left mistakenly by the killers and is led to an unimaginable network of international crime and destruction that has for years thrived and lived undetected or ignored in his small town.
While Anna struggles to recover, Hank chases the criminals all over Alabama and into the Southeast, racing against time to stop even more murders from taking place.
"the czech files." This new author is amazing! She writes as though she is a world famous professional author. There is no other murder mystery novel out there like The Czech Files. Ryan Anderson, you are amazing! I cant wait to read the next one! Congrats and good luck:)
"The Czech Files " I wanted to say thank you Ryan Anderson for such a wonderful book to read. It was hard for me to put the book down. It was written with so much suspense behind it and it kept me on my seat from page to page. It was an easy read and I just loved the characters in the book. I am looking forward to reading "The Artist". The first two chapters already have me hooked. Please, keep up the good work because you can see your artwork through the writings in your books. Maybe you can join us at the WSFA Book Bunch one day.
"Unbelievable Book...." I purchased this book at this years Shrimp Fest in Gulf Shores, Alabama, and had the pleasure of meeting the author. She had told me, good, bad or indifferent, to please let people know what i thought about the book. This book was absolutely wonderful. the style in which it was written was easy to read, and kept you on the edge of your seat. i can't wait for the next book.
