As a gay fiction writer myself, I was thrilled when I heard that this book was going to be published. And Ryan did not disappoint! The characters are so realistic in their fears and hopes and dreams that it drags you in leaves you sobbing with their tragedies and your heart soaring with their triumphs! Tackling this type of subject matter is so hard due to the "expectations" that it will be nothing but porn, but this book, while complete with hot hot erotic scenes, was so much more. The narrative was so gripping and the plot so well woven that anything sexual was like a bonus for the reader not the point of the story. Ryan gives us the emotions and trepidation and shows the way that love knows no gender or boundaries it just blooms where it does and fulfills that empty place deep within our souls. This is a must read for anyone who likes a good love story created from personal tragedy and is looking for reassurance that love is all you need!!!
