Adventures in Dog Fostering

Short stories about the challenges of daily life fostering dogs with a local animal rescue group where the author and her husband live in North Alabama. The stories are brought to life with photographs of each the dogs they have fostered over a two year time period from when they first began fostering. The stories capture the hilarious and sometimes incredibly destructive behavior of dogs who have had little or no guidance on how to be a well behaved family member. The author sheds light on the relationship her own dogs build with each foster that comes into their home and her attempts at making each foster more adoptable by teaching basic doggie manners. She shares insight to the side of fostering that can make you laugh one minute cry happy tears the next. A portion of proceeds from the sale of this book will go to support local animal rescue efforts.
