Aug 26, 2014This book inspired me to begin journaling and telling my story. The four part break down allows the reader to think about the content that can make up a story, provides strategies on how to develop and expand on ideas, encourages the reader to take action by writing about personal experiences, and enables the reader to reflect on various pieces of writing. While reading this book I was able to reflect on the experiences that make up the person I am, and why these experiences are important to me. The reflective process facilitated by this book has added to strengthening my life story and it has provided me with insight into how I can make the most of turning future experiences into colourful stories. I recommend this book to anyone who is seeking to become a better storyteller or writer, or anyone who would like to reflect on life experiences and move forward in their journey with a perspective that includes increased awareness.
