This paper is a satirical criticism of perceptions of modern women. Women are under scrutiny for the way they dress, act, speak, etc. This paper satirizes these criticisms. Watch for crude generalizations, exaggerations, and hateful remarks. Women and men are equal, but different. It is impossible for men and women to be completely equal. Women, like men, must earn their place in society. There is no right place for women and men, but there is a right place for the individual. Just because women have the right to any job, does not mean that every woman deserves that job, and the same logic applies to men. Let there be Rosie Riveters, let there be Holly Housewives. I will respect a housewife, mother of four as much as I will respect a female mechanic or a woman in a typically male-dominated profession – and in turn I will respect a man who chooses to stay home with children just as much as I will respect an engineer who is away from his family for long periods of time.
