"My review of Demonsword" Science fiction and Fantasy books are not my cup of tea and there is no right way to write a book review as a review is highly personal and reflect the opinions of the person giving it but I was very surprised... I was very surprised about this book : Demonsword. The book has a slow beginning but picks up speed after just a few pages and I could not put it down after a while, anticipating myself the ending. Demonsword is an easy read with its 272 pages. The main character Sharah, hard rock from the outside but soft fabric from the inside, will bring you with her in her quest!

Being a sci-fi/fantasy buff by nature, I was anticipating an interesting story based in a mythical world. Interesting would be a word to use, yes. While the adult content was definitely not something that I found compelling or even needed, the story itself was not bad. The world that he built was believable (as far as fantasy worlds go) and in most cases pretty interesting the way he worked in magic, sorcery and demons. I would have preferred that he focused more on that stuff rather than the adult content, as there were times I actually did not want to read on for fear of what would happen next. Again, the world was believable, and while he was at some times over-descriptive about the surroundings of the main character, there were times I wished that he explained in more detail the way that the magic of this world worked. Like I said, I have always love fantasy adventures and I think that what most people enjoy about them is learning the way the magic works in each world they read... More > about. Some parts were long winded and repetitive, but all in all the story line was solid and the world was one in which people could lose themselves for a little while.< Less
