Consciousness of or orientation in vocational walks of life is excruciatingly poor in not only developing countries but also emerging economies, an anomaly fuelled in some of these nations by the domination of oil politics alongside its attendant disproportionate focus of efforts to gain employment in and be associated with the oil industry. Yet vocations constitute the springboards of entrepreneurship and entrepreneurship, the pivot of economies. Hence, vocational literacy and consistent vocational reorientation is hereby identified as critical to the long-term success of aid programmes as well as of economic advancement strides.
