Dr Sarah Dobbs is a lecturer in English and Creative Writing. She has taught at a variety of universities including the University of Manchester, Lancaster University, Edge Hill and The Open University.
'Creative Writing for Creative People: Beginners' has been compiled from Sarah's experience of teaching Creative Writing over a number of years. If you've ever wanted to write, this book is for you. This guide is an easy-to-follow ten week course that was designed to help you gain experience in character, plot, script, dialogue and lifewriting. Readings are included in the book, in order to encourage analysis of other writers and your development.
Sarah is the author of 'The Red Balloon', 'Game, Set, Love-Match' and the forthcoming 'Killing Daniel'. Her short stories and scripts have been published, broadcast and performed internationally, including at the Bolton Octagon, ADC Theatre and the BBC.

From Elizabeth Harris. It's brilliant. Love how it acknowledges that people don't have a lot of spare time and suits it to that. Very clear and easy to follow too. A lot of creative writing tutor are going to be very grateful for it.
