"In and Out of Ice/Glass," is an astounding, emotionally moving book that brings to life the challenges of the healing process. Sarah Smith brings us on her extremely powerful journey through the intense darkness of her past and into hope by captivating the reader through her vivid and detailed journal entries. These open and real entries give us an account of a woman who survived abuse and who learned to deal with the challenges of Dissociative Identity Disorder and Chemical Dependency. The book touched my heart and gave me hope through the realization that I am not alone. “In and Out of Ice/Glass,” is a meaningful and exceptionally written book that I highly recommended reading.

Emotional, almost voyeuristic look inside the thoughts and mind of an amazing human being. Such a moving story! Very well-written by an intelligent, if troubled woman.

Amazingly honest open book about MPD/DID. It was like watching over someones shoulder as the poured out their heart and soul into a journal. Gives the reader wonderful insight into what it is like inside the mind of an abuse survivor that must split in order to seperate.
