Passive income is money that comes to you even when you’re not actively working, such as royalties, investment income, and revenue from automated business systems. I started earning passive... More > income in the 1990s by creating, selling, and licensing computer games. Once those deals and systems were established, I continued to earn money from those products year after year. This approach soon became a habit. It took me many years to figure out how to make a living this way, and I went bankrupt along the way, but eventually I learned what I needed to learn. It works, and I definitely appreciate the benefits of it. The truth is that it’s much, much easier to earn passive income today than it was when I first began on this path. The Meaning of Life: Personal Development for Smart People By Steve Pavlina & Rastislav Penčík

What is the meaning of life? Why are we here? Is there a God or isn’t there, and if there is a God, what is its nature? Of all the world’s religions, which one is the most correct? Is... More > there an afterlife? Are we primarily physical beings or spiritual beings? People have struggled for millennia to tackle these questions. Wars have been fought over them. Juice Feasting: Personal Development for Smart People By Steve Pavlina & Rastislav Penčík
eBook (ePub): $3.10
What Is Juice Feasting? That isn’t a typo. Juice feasting isn’t quite the same thing as juice fasting. On a juice feast, the goal is to drink enough fresh juice that you aren’t... More > restricting calories at all. In practice that means drinking at least a gallon of fresh juice per day. All these juices must be made fresh, so nothing is pasteurized. However, it’s okay to make a day’s worth of juice in the morning and then drink it in batches throughout the day. It can be a bit labor intensive to make so much juice. I estimate it will take me 60-90 minutes per day, including prep and clean-up. But that isn’t bad because time is gained by not having to eat. I can drink my juice while working at my desk if I want. Starting today, I’m kicking off a 92-day juice feasting experiment. This means that for the next 3 months, I won’t be eating any solid foods. Instead I’ll be consuming lots and lots of fresh fruit and veggie juices... This book is composed of the articles from Steve Pavlina's website.< Less
Polyphasic Sleep: Personal Development for Smart People By Steve Pavlina & Rastislav Penčík
eBook (ePub): $3.10
Polyphasic sleep involves taking multiple short sleep periods throughout the day instead of getting all your sleep in one long chunk. A popular form of polyphasic sleep, the Uberman sleep schedule,... More > suggests that you sleep 20-30 minutes six times per day, with equally spaced naps every 4 hours around the clock. This means you’re only sleeping 2-3 hours per day. I’d previously heard of polyphasic sleep, but until now I hadn’t come across practical schedules that people seem to be reporting interesting results with. How can this sleep schedule work? Supposedly it takes about a week to adjust to it. A normal sleep cycle is 90 minutes, and REM sleep occurs late in this cycle. REM is the most important phase of sleep, the one in which you experience dreams, and when deprived of REM for too long, you suffer serious negative consequences. This book is composed of the articles from Steve Pavlina's website. It contains Polyphasic Sleep series with additional related articles.< Less
Social Skills: Personal Development for Smart People By Steve Pavlina & Rastislav Penčík
eBook (ePub): $3.11
I think the best advice I can give for improving social skills is simply: Practice. You can study techniques like matching and mirroring to build rapport, and you can memorize cutesy acronyms like... More > SOFTEN.... Like many introverts I was pressured by others to socialize more. But I largely resisted this pressure, partly because I enjoyed being an introvert. I often viewed extroverts as lacking in intelligence and depth, and I can’t say I wanted to count myself among them. However, over a long period of time, I eventually found myself becoming more and more extroverted. I’ll share some deep thoughts on how to consciously create intimate connections with other people. I’ll also explain the mindset/heartset that can help you overcome any fear of rejection. This book is composed of the articles from Steve Pavlina's website. It contains articles about social skills, human relationships, communication, public speaking, approach anxiety and many more...< Less
