translation attempts to be an utterly accurate and all-inclusive
(unexpurgated!) rendition of the original. The
chapter titles are taken from Gediin Chopel's own... More > indication
of the contents at the end of sections, with the exception
of the titles of chapters one through five and
chapter nine which were added from context. The title
of chapter eighteen is found in a table of contents at the
beginning of the two editions of the Tibetan text in India
but not in the text itself. Internal headings have been
