More > From these ‘what if’ moments, I often find myself imagining the tragedy of Little Prince’s rose. The sheep that the narrator drew him could have easily eaten the flower; after all, the muzzle he drew didn’t have leather straps on it. This idea really perturbs me greatly—the rose that had tamed our Little Prince being devoured helplessly by a small, but not-so-small sheep. On that note, this anthology follows this idea of disturbance and uneasiness that comes up in my life. In this chapter of my life, because I had to deal with professional transitions, the disturbance and uneasiness were multiplied. Through writing, I try to express these perturbing thoughts: some very obviously and some very subtly. Perhaps you might find these topics not as disturbing; or perhaps you might find these topics even more disturbing than I do.< Less
