To immediately test her thesis in practice, she has written a narrative – a fable – that presents the intricacy of the arguments that are in existence surrounding the moral status of animals. Through the internal thoughts and the external dialogues of a single character, Sentimus the mouse, she shows the reader a variety of visions that typify the animal ethics debate.
