Galaxy Expansion By Geoff Robinson
eBook (PDF): $3.06
FULL COLOR. 28 pages. Extract on Galaxy Expansion from book Relatively Simple, 2nd Edition. This extract from Relatively Simple gives a taste of the book's scope. The chapter on Galaxy expansion is... More > extended as an appendix which evaluates the expansion mechanism. There is an indication that acceleration of the expansion is self-limiting with visible matter. Dark matter may exist but acceptance of dynamic expanding galaxies greatly reduces the need for large quantities of dark matter within them. Reflections and Rocket Science By Geoff Robinson
eBook (PDF): $3.06
FULL COLOR. 36 pages. Extract on Mirror relativity and Pioneer 10 Anomalous Acceleration from book Relatively Simple, 2nd Edition. This extract from Relatively Simple gives a taste of the book's... More > scope. The chapter on Mirrors clarifies some reflection principles. Spaceship Pioneer 10 monitoring by transponded electromagnetic signals showed a very small unexplained acceleration. A possible misinterpretation of Doppler data due to uncompensated, previously unknown, relativistic effects is described in a chapter and related appendix. Relativity of light transmission in moving liquid By Geoff Robinson
eBook (PDF): $3.06
FULL COLOR. 16 pages. 1st Edition. The velocity of light, passing through liquid moving through a tube, was determined experimentally by Fizeau. Albert Einstein referred to the Fizeau (and also... More > Zeeman) results as supporting the validity of the Lorentz Transformation. This was of importance in relation to the Special Theory of Relativity. It is shown that there is an alternative approach employing a relationship developed from first principles, within and between stipulated frames of reference. The approach is logical, uses basic laws of physics and is at least equal to that determined by, or inferred from, Fizeau's experiment. The limitation of Fizeau's relationship to that of an approximation valid only for low liquid velocities, relative to the speed of light, is avoided by the proposed new approach.< Less

FULL COLOR. 32 pages. Extract on Time's Rate-of-Passing from book Relatively Simple, 2nd Edition. This extract from Relatively Simple gives a taste of the book's scope. The chapter and appendix on... More > time passing very rapidly at 'Big Bang' time, and then slowing exponentially, are purely speculative - presented as a form of mental gymnastics. That approach does, however, open up some interesting possibilities concerning cosmological problems such as the 'horizon' problem - anomalies of distance and time for light travel related to remote objects; high red-shift values - indicating speeds greater than C, the maximum speed thought possible, and others. FULL COLOR. 24 pages. Extract on Light-beam Alignment from book Relatively Simple, 2nd Edition. This extract from Relatively Simple gives a taste of the book's scope. The chapter on Light-beam... More > Alignment shows that electromagnetic radiation (em) passes direct from a fixed source to a target (observer) also fixed in the same reference frame - for example, both fixed to Earth - irrespective of their, combined, movement as part of the movement of that reference frame. That important chapter is also included in the separate extract dealing with Starlight Aberration. Absolute Rotation By Geoff Robinson

FULL COLOR. 36 pages. Extract on Earth's Rotation from book Relatively Simple, 2nd Edition. This extract from Relatively Simple gives a taste of the book's scope. The chapter on Earth's rotation in... More > and with the Universe introduces an appendix evaluating Sagnac Ring-Laser principles. Detail study is made of rectangular 'rings' in which contra-circulating beams of light are used to generate a 'beat' frequency from their interference as the ring rotates with Earth's movement. Actual examples are evaluated. For Relatively Simple and other works search Lulu.com for author: Geoff Robinson or direct via tinyurl.com/relativelysimple or bit.ly/relativelysimple< Less

FULL COLOR. 32 pages. Extract on Starlight Aberration from book Relatively Simple, 2nd Edition. This extract from Relatively Simple gives a taste of the book's scope. The chapter on Starlight... More > Aberration shows that - in stipulated circumstances, in this case in relation to Earth's velocity in orbit around the Sun - the aberration is from a relative light velocity with respect to a stationary observer on Earth. A chapter on Light-beam Alignment shows that electromagnetic radiation (em) passes direct from a fixed source to a target (observer) also fixed in the same reference frame - for example, both fixed to Earth - irrespective of their, combined, movement as part of the movement of that reference frame. FULL COLOR. 40 pages. Extract on Traveling-Twins and Simultaneity from book Relatively Simple, 2nd Edition. This extract from Relatively Simple gives a taste of the book's scope. The chapters on... More > Traveling-Twins and Simultaneity bring a fresh approach to time-travel and for events occurring at the same time. It is shown that convincing explanations for these situations come from correctly allowing for signal travel-time.
