Shooting Kingdoms out the Wazoo: stories 1994-2002 By Eric Morder
Paperback: $20.00
Prints in 3-5 business days
the title comes seemingly out of the blue, though ostensibly I suppose I could assert a connection between it and the line from Neil Young's "words": "living in castles a bit at a... More > time / the king started laughing and talking in rhyme." which is to say with each castle lived in, its necessary kingdom is not just ruled over by the rhyming king, but also is being shot out the wazoo! since I rarely practice writing the short story anymore, these stories cannot be held in any comparison, and coupled with the theory of time degenerating life (age), they might prove better than what they should in an evaluation. in addition, I might be overly fond of them, hence their being on my storefront. if you like my poetry and novel writing, you'll find the stories satisfying as well. if not, well, there's one born every minute, born fresh out of the wazoo, like Young's castle dweller bit by bit in the throes of upgrading.< Less

Childhood, and Everything After By Eric Morder
Paperback: $20.00
Prints in 3-5 business days
this is my first novel, written in 1996 when I was 23 years old. it stands up well to time--I thoroughly enjoyed it (and stifled a tear or two) going back over it, now 14 years later. hope you... More > enjoy it! (it's about me, from innocent child to falling prey to hallucinogens due to having heard as an impressionable youth songs like "white rabbit" and aspirations to the generation before me, to needing to pull rein and carry on, as we all, I suppose, must learn to do.) the content is similar to what I discuss in the Buskopolis documentary production of "Half A Bee," a film now available at indiepixfilms.com< Less

Paperback: $20.00

this is my first volume of poetry, written for my amusement, and subsequently, yours. many poems about people who mean much to me, namely my cat Zeusy, or Juicy Zeusy. many "poet's"... More > poems, ie., observations of a humanity so far removed from humanity that even though we're still waiting, and waiting, for Godot, it's hard to live in this American culture circa 2005, a culture so consumed with hubris, or arrogant pride, that it admits no reality into its proud circle of consume, kill, and consume what is killed. cheery stuff. not bleak poetry, but at times compelled to comment on assorted, unanimously defined bleakness. other poems bright with hope to provide Dylan's joker with his much-sought "relief."< Less

More > poems ranging from the womb to beyond the tomb, where we'll meet again, some sunny day, when the dire irony of Armstrong singing "what a wonderful world" will have faded like an atom bomb mushroom, making Louis' treatment seem merely as having been premature.< Less
words of page and wisdom: poems 2009-2010 By Eric Morder
Paperback: $20.00
Prints in 3-5 business days
my latest as of mid-2010, words of page and wisdom: poems 2009-2010 burns now for my part more than the other volumes, mainly because it is my latest--and the path of growth yields fruit both sweet... More > and sour with each new (news) thing. similar in tone and humor as previous work, but with more precision it seems, this volume has a wide variety of subjects and treatments, with an overall sense that I am getting closer to writing a line the way I want it to be, and not a repeat of Whitman, et al., rather than your standard subjectivity oh so precious, but the classical goal of poetry, approaching the objective, moral world from a subjective perspective. in doing so, I find more closure and satisfaction from these poems, while maintaining a liveliness and freshness. if I hadn't written and edited them, I'd be thrilled to read them. I'm driving, but I don't get to see me go by: stereo blasting, cigarette between fingers, windows open to let in the hair-mussing wind.< Less
the belchings of missus and mister crybaby: poems 2006 By Eric Morder

this is not "One fine May morning Ms. Magilacoty ventured forth towards the legendary honey tree, so much like a dewdropless white rose secreting the essence of a mailbox overflowing with... More > seasonal, abbreviated junk mail, to capture the thickening sap of a hundred years desire once it reached, in her fancy, the point where forbidden love becomes ponderable like a Babylonian goddess in the throes of updating her sexual prowess to the intellectualisms of a Bruno set adrift on the high post-medievalist junction of right makes right, quite like the awkward honeybee sticky with love-joy and newsprung lovingness." "belchings" is not careful sonnets of no meaning or memorability in imponderable metaphoric asinity. ie., it's readable: fun and instructive, what poetry might be yet.< Less
