I was fortunate to watch a Great Horned Owl nest from the time the mother was sitting on the eggs through the hatch and to the day the babies flew off on their own. Also, I was able to photograph a Mandarin Drake. They are rare birds in the United States where only a few breeding groups are found. My photos were taken during every season in Colorado.
