The nine artists invited to participate in the show fold in both antiquated and highly technical coding systems and materials to explore ideas about secrecy, privacy, authenticity, identity, memory and loss, as well as the interplay between the physical and virtual world. Works are diverse in concept and aesthetic, ranging from digital prints, sculpture and painting to web based video projection. The show was made possible through a unique collaboration between The Arts Council of Greater New Haven and Haskins Laboratories, Yale University.
