I decided early on that I would strive to develop scientific and technological advances in industry. I have worked on petroleum, plastics, paint, adhesives and wetting, timber, coal, forensic science and building materials, plus two episodes of teaching. These studies are published in the major journals, as patents, and in chapters of books..
