“Never again will I doubt myself, mentally regain my thoughts,...Never again will I forget,... Never again will I rage, and hopefully turn the page, into the chapter of reality.” -RM,... More > 2014 When we were asked to introduce ourselves, we asked around, and what we realized is that we cannot be summed up. We are a generation of individual voices. We are one, yes, but we are many, and we each come with our own stories. We are heroes, yes; survivors, yes; dreamers, yes; speaking, yes; but we have each become these things, learned these stories we tell from our own paths. While these paths may have intersected at some point in 2014 and these stories have intertwined into one autobiography, we are a group that has come from the corners of this continent, and we will not stop speaking until we make it to the corners of the globe. This book is our autobiography. These are OUR VOICES and this is OUR GENERATION. We are STILL SURVIVING.< Less

On my 65th birthday (in 1999), Vijie, my sister-in-law, presented me with a Macintosh LC II. I always wanted to own a computer ever since I started working at Batchelor College, Darwin in 1990. I... More > don’t know how to thank her for it! Probably she has even forgotten about it...I took early retirement because of my ill health, and we moved from Darwin to St Marys in March, 1996 and then to Hobart in 2000. So this gift came in handy and kept me busy in my retirement in that I resumed my project I had already started in Darwin. When Morgie’s mother passed away in 1990, it was decided that she should ‘inherit’ her mother’s house in St Marys. That was very gracious and generous of her brothers and sisters. Hence our move to St Marys in 1996! We lived there in our own house with our pet, Charlie, a tomcat, for four years.< Less
