They reveal a haphazard approach, entirely different from the customary approach of orderly presentation. But in this is their incalculable value, because they reflect my mother’s realities, with the first scrapbook being aptly labelled, ‘Higgley-de-Piggley Book!!’ Bearing this important resource in mind, it is time to introduce my great-grandfather on my mother’s father’s side of my ancestral spectrum; my great-grandfather; he being Part V of my DNA, John Alfred Fortune (1872-1929).< Less
