Shen Zhou Spacecraft (Chinese Manned Spaceflight Program)-2017 Calendar By Yung-Kang (Derby) Sun
Calendar: $14.99
Prints in 3-5 business days
Shenzhou is a spacecraft developed and operated by the People's Republic of China to support its manned spaceflight program. The name is homophonous with an ancient name for China. Its design... More > resembles the Russian Soyuz spacecraft, but it is larger in size and all-new in construction. The first launch was on November 19, 1999 and the first manned launch was on October 15, 2003. Like Soyuz, Shenzhou consists of three modules: a forward orbital module, a reentry module in the middle, and an aft service module. This division is based on the principle of minimizing the amount of material to be returned to Earth. Anything placed in the orbital or service modules does not require heat shielding, and this increases the space available in the spacecraft without increasing weight as much as it would if those modules were also able to withstand reentry. This calendar presents the beauty of the outer shape as the keepsake and memory for fans of space technologies in the holiday season and brand new year.< Less

The Guide to China – the Sights, Hotels, Spas, Massage, Food and Travel (Hong Kong, Yangshuo, Shanghai, Huangshan and Beijing) from Pearl Escapes 2010 By Pearl Howie
eBook (ePub): $0.00
China is not so much a country as a continent, with so many areas to visit, and as soon as you tell anyone you're heading there or look at classic tours you'll hear where you should go… to see... More > the pandas, visit the Terracotta Army, sleep on The Great Wall. I didn’t do any of these things. Whatever your guides, friends, family or even I say about it, choose your China trip for yourself. You can tailor your tour to suit you exactly (much like you can have almost any item of clothing made up for you in a day in China!) China is probably the hardest place I have ever visited, but one of my favourite places in the world (and I'm definitely going back). I used to get extremely burned out in my old job and couldn't even handle finding and booking a hotel and flight or finding what to do when I did take time off. So, I thought "wouldn't it be awesome if someone would write a guide that just gave you one perfect escape; the perfect hotel, spa, flight and restaurant." So that's what I did.< Less
