I spent most of my time in the state of Karnata near the city of Gokarna at a beach called Paradise. I was, as I’m still now, writing a novel about Mexico City, so I found this desolate... More > place where I rented a large hut, hung my hammock and began to write. The images here are a mixture of feelings and internal times. Being alone most of the time, I wandered around quiet a lot. There are also pictures taken while on trains, travelling from Delhi to Goa, then south to Karnataka. Now, here in Berlin, I'm happy this trip took place. Although I did not find my inner being or my karmic self, I did shed the past three and some years that I sepent in DF after being in NYC and Boston. India was necessary - I guess as all trips life hands you. I'm still figuring out exactly what it was that India gave me, but there is definitely work to be done from this trip. Please take your time browsing through these pictures. “Full power and India is great!”< Less

From my many travels to India, I created an album that for me best represents India. However, on my last trip to India in November 2009 I realized that the best way to bring India back home with me was to take photos to show to friends and family. Over the years I have visited Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Bangalore and numerous smaller cities. This past trip I fell in love with Varanasi as it is like a group of small cities within a larger city. My all time favorite place in the world is Nepal, which is obviously not part of India but contains the Himalayas. One day I hope to see the Indian part of the Himalayas as well. I am against taking photos of poverty which obviously exists in India as most places, but there are so many amazing things about India that truly show her greatness.< Less
