In April 2005 the Writers Group spun off a sub-group for those especially interested in poetry. Known now as the “Poets” Corner,” the group meets once a month using a workshop format where members read their poems, exchange comments and make suggestions on the individual offerings. The Poets’ Corner has worked well and its members, in appreciation of a full year of consistent dedication to poetry, offers this selection of poems reflecting, for the most part, works read and discussed during the previous twelve sessions.< Less
