More > 1881 and 1885 Hugh wrote each New Year’s. Nine letters written between 1827 and 1856 of the Crawford family are included. After the letters are Hugh’s “New Year’s” notes. Some 180 people are mentioned in fifty-five pages. Three generation genealogical lists are included for the families both of Hugh’s parents. One hundred and twenty of those mentioned in the writings have been identified. Each of these is included in an appendix with birth, death, place of burial, and relationship, where known. Hugh lived on Washington Pike in Knoxville, Tennessee. Part of an 1895 map, with various families identified, is included. Also, several photographs of Hugh’s family members are in the book.< Less
