Enos Jones of Augusta County, Virginia, was the son of Robert Jones & Anne Coulston of the Welsh settlement of Gwyndd in what is today Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. They were Friends or... More > Quakers if you prefer, as were the majority of the first settlers of Gwyndd, fleeing from the religious intolerance of 17th Century England. In addition I located a couple of sheets of papers dealing with clerk fees which document the Ordinary licenses (typically Ordinary bonds are preserved), which is included here – as the old 18th century records. The Road and Bridge records are contained in two folders, dating from 1847 to 1898. The mill folder has two mills both from 1808.< Less
