Well, this is the first ever book I wrote, therefore I sincerely hope that you have enjoyed every bits of this book, just as you would have enjoyed a peaceful and relaxing afternoon tea. The poems... More > here were not written simply in a day but were meticulously produced in the span of a year whenever a wonderful idea crosses my mind. Different people will have different opinions on this book but hopefully, my literary skills will continue to grow with more zest, love and maturity. Together with the poems, there are also beautiful quotes that I have found to be motivating and interesting. Some were by famous personalities but a few were thought and produced all at home. I certainly hope that the book will not disappoint anyone. Three hearty cheers for the joys literature has brought into our lives. http://www.lulu.com/content/842870 offers a B/W version which is cheaper.< Less

Sometimes inspiring, sometimes controversial, but always stimulating, Oscar Wilde's essay on socialism is a surprising contribution to nineteenth-century political thought. In veering away from the... More > conventional meaning of socialism, he presents a view which is as much concerned with artistic creativity and individualism as it is with social justice. Following his conversion to anarchist philosophy after reading the works of Peter Kropotkin, Wilde's aesthetic, romantic approach fervently advances an idiosyncratic plea for personal freedom of expression. This new digital edition corrects a serious error of typographical style. Wilde’s original article presents many phrases and sentences at key moments in his discourse IN ITALICS, which in subsequent editions were rendered in ordinary roman type, removing clarity and nuance from his writing. In this new edition the italics are restored.< Less

Isthmus Thus By Brett Banfe
Paperback: $11.84

Isthmus Thus is a novel alive. Brace yourself for the undiscovered treasure of your own immanence. It is stirring in the trees and bustling in the breeze. It is the story of coming to know anything... More > at all. Of loving, of leaving- of setting records straight. The novel clarifies even as it confuses. This is the story of myself struggling to find the meaning of a question. Striving to fling starfish from sand to surf and coming face to face with the pretense of my own derision. I dig my hands into the sand of my mental beach and watch the world fall at my feet. And I hope that somewhere, someone has listened to that love bore between these lines and found the heart has flooded in wordless relief. Do not take half-a-bite of this novel, for it will leave you bitter and dissatisfied. If you choose to, swallow and ravage this like it were a lullaby and you were dressing down for sleep. You will find its relevance rustling in the distant meadows, a crow's callous caw blasting blasphemed banter at a misshapen moon.< Less
