``How can I load input satellite imagery, compute an input raster into a given result and write that result as a new image to the hard disk''. This book gives a range of programming options to... More > answer this question, using high-level and low-level programming languages, some serial (C, Python, R) but also some in parallel (OpenMP, MPI-C, CUDA, OpenCL). Additionally, it also demonstrates how to perform various levels of integrations into few programming languages and environments having GUI functionality (WxPython and GRASS GIS).< Less

Remote Sensing - Simulation Modeling for Agriculture and Water Management By Amor V.M. Ines
Paperback: $17.99
Prints in 3-5 business days
Physically based, field scale agro-hydrological models provide a robust way to understand the cause-effect relationships of the interrelated variables in the soil-plant-atmosphere system. One... More > weakness of field scale models is their inability to account for the heterogeneity in a system (i.e. a hydrological domain) at the regional level. This is important to overcome because of its broad implications to water management studies. In this book, a methodology was developed to address this problem using Remote Sensing – Simulation Modeling approach.< Less

Remote-Viewing is the act of seeing objects near or far by using the mind. For anyone who wants to learn how to activate their psychic center or “sixth sense” and to Remote-View, this... More > book will help them achieve their goals. Margie Kay not only explains what Remote Viewing is but gives the reader many different methods to use to become accurate. Remote-Viewers can find lost objects, look at past and even future events, locate missing persons or pets, find the source of vehicle problems, see health issues inside the human body, and much more. Persons who are psychic can learn Remote-Viewing more easily than others, but anyone can learn how to do RV work! Practice using the skills tests in this book and become a more efficient and accurate Remote-Viewer.< Less

Fusion of Spatio-Temporal Remotely Sensed Evapotranspiration by Data Assimilation for Irrigation Performance By Yann Chemin
Paperback: $67.98

Monitoring of water consumption in irrigation systems is paramount to integrated water management. This is already possible with Low spatial resolution (LSR) satellite remote sensing. However,... More > smaller pixel size is still required for more local management, while keeping return period within few days.High spatial resolution (HSR) satellite imagery is indeed available for calculation of evapotranspiration, and has been used in many studies already. However, its practical return period is a major drawback to its implementation for monitoring irrigation systems. This thesis is perusing into the use of genetic algorithms to assimilate parameters of an agro-hydrological model called SWAP for each of the pixels of HSR images contained into one single pixel of a LSR multi-temporal image. The methodology developed and experimented here is trying to take advantage of the spatial content of HSR images and the temporal content of LSR images by fusing them by the process of data assimilation.< Less
