Seventy-three year old Fabian Grant is a man with a story to tell. After a troubled childhood, Grant was able to escape his past and become a revered educator in Southeast Pennsylvania. His success... More > as a teacher afforded him a rewarding and prosperous career, most of which the lifelong bachelor has spent at his estate in Montgomery County. Now retired and enjoying a life of solitude, he is approached by a college professor and novelist named Cyrus Chambers, who is interested in a series of events that have haunted Grant his entire life. The details of the events become the inspiration for Chambers’ next novel, but the exchanges between the elder and the professor prove to be much more than the stimulus for Chambers’ next best-seller.< Less
Nuts & Bolts: Taking Apart Special Relativity By James Spinosa
eBook (ePub): $0.00
"Nuts &Bolts" diproves Einstein’s theory of special relativity. It is written to appeal to a wide audience. There are many formidable looking equations in the book. Fortunately,... More > they are explained in detail. The equations of special relativity are explained in greater detail in "Nuts & Bolts" than in any other book. The many ambiuous and confusing statements present in Einstein’s relativity paper, "On the Electrodynamics of Moving Bodies," are explained and explored in detail. Let’s face it, some readers are going to find the mathematics worse than trying to make sense of James Joyce's "Finnegan’s Wake." The solution is the long chapters are divided into short sections. It says something profound about science that Einstein’s theories have never been presented in a form that is understandable yet still retains the depth of his pretentiously titled "On the Electrodynamics of Moving Bodies." Of equal profoundity is that in explaining the theory it becomes evident that the theory is ful of invalid equations.< Less
Bell's Inequality Untwisted By James Spinosa
eBook (PDF): $0.00
(1 Ratings)
Bell's Inequality Untwisted is a unique book. The author's aim is to explain in detail all the equations and statements in John S. Bell's ground-breaking paper, published in 1964,"On the... More > Einstein Podolsky Rosen Paradox." He attempts an in depth explanation of Bell's paper in a way that is understandable to a wide audience. In the process of explaining every equation in detail, it becomes clear that Bell's 1964 paper is a series of incoherent equations, and his famous eponymic inequality is an unjustified assertion. Bell's elliptic style of writing calls out for comprehensive explanations of his equations. Explanations that fill the lacunae in his mathematical system. When the gaps in his system are filled, the inconsistent and illogical nature of his reasoning becomes clear. Bell's inequality holds a very important place in the development of quantum mechanics. The fact that the profound shortcomings of Bell's paper are not widely known is telling.< Less
Fathoming Gödel: An Examination of Kurt Gödel's 1931 Paper: On Formally Undecidable Propositions of Principia Mathematica and Related Systems 1 By James Spinosa
eBook (ePub): $0.00
A short e-book with a very long title Fathoming Gödel: an Examination of Kurt Gödel’s 1931 Paper: On Formally Undeciable Propositions of Principia Mathematica and Related Systems 1. ... More > The title of my e-book includes the title of Kurt Gödel’s 1931 paper, and the title of his 1931 paper includes the title of Bertrand Russell and Alfred North Whitehead’s monumental work Principia Mathematica, the title of which harkens back to Isaac Newton’s Philosophiae Naturalis Principia Mathematica. I remember in high school someone lent me Ernest Nagel and James R. Newman’s book Gödel’s Proof published in 1958. At the time I was quite impressed and thought that if I kept studying assiduously I would one day understand the complex mathematics present in that text. It seems that Gödel’s proofs have had an aura of mystery around them for quite sometime. In high school I believed that Gödel had discovered something profound about the nature of reality and about the limits of human understanding. Now I think he is a fraud.< Less

Bell's inequality holds a very important place in the development of quantum mechanics so it is surprising to find that it has no merit. It has been difficult to make a epub version of this book that has the complex equations presented in a clear and easily readable manner. It seems epub is not designed to present complex equations clearly, but it may be that I can't figure out the correct method for presenting the equations.< Less

More > big data. Michael Mandiberg wrote software transforms all of Wikipedia in thousands of print on print-on-demand volumes, drawing attention to the sheer size of the encyclopedia's content and the impossibility of rendering Wikipedia as a poetic material object in fixed form: Once a volume is printed it is already out of date. This German version encompases 3406 volumes that were uploaded in May and June 2016. Eine gängige Größenordnung für Enzyklopädien sind die Bände ihrer Ausgaben.
