More > fear, poets from Absolute Write’s poetry forum molded Hollis Brown into 15 gallons of something that would not fit into a 10 gallon hat. Hollis became tangible. We cared how he walked, what he wore, who he was seen with and how many rounds he had left in the chamber. And in doing so, we penned 73 poems. However, every finished work is more than that. These are the official dust-covered, yellowed pulp records of a cowboy whose reckoning sent shock waves from Topeka to Barstow. The work here is complete. Hollis would have appreciated that.< Less
