At the Temple de l'Amour, they came across a terrifying man dressed in 18th Century costume surrounded by men and women dressed in the same attire. Moberly even witnessed a woman in the garden that seemed to be the infamous Queen Marie Antoinette herself sketching away in the clearing. Many plausible solutions were put forth to explain this phenomenon. This (very) short story was inspired by the real life "time slip" Moberly and Jourdain’s experience on their trip to Versailles.< Less
