Airports are so often seen as a stop off between point A and point B, but so many people use them every day that, merely by the law of averages, they must be much more than that. We all know that... More > major events such as plane crashes and hijackings have their origins in airports, but this collection of stories shows that between the cracks of those massive yet infrequent events, there are many other smaller stories gaining air miles every other day. This book is set in Boston’s Logan International Airport on September 10th, 2001. Logan was the starting point for the attacks on the World Trade Center the following day, in a time before Facebook, smartphones, hijacked planes being used as weapons of mass destruction, shoe bombers, the Department of Homeland Security and full body scanners. 'Terminal' is a snapshot of the lives of a handful of people all brought together purely because somebody wants to go from point A to point B. Please fasten your seatbelts and enjoy the ride.< Less
